Darryl Biggs is a seasoned security professional with over 30 years of global experience in protective operations, intelligence, and risk management. He currently serves as President of Threat Mitigation–Risk Control Group, a licensed private investigation and security firm based in Arizona, and as Managing Partner of Red Variable Concepts, headquartered in Tampa, Florida. In addition, Mr. Biggs is a Senior Instructor with ISCG Consulting, where he provides advanced corporate training in Dignitary and Executive Protection, Protective Surveillance, Surveillance Detection, and Kidnap & Ransom consulting.
Mr. Biggs began his distinguished career in the United States Army, serving from 1986 to 1994 in both infantry and human intelligence roles. His assignments included elite postings with the Pathfinders, Long Range Surveillance Unit, and U.S. Army Special Operations Command. He participated in combat operations in Panama, Saudi Arabia/Iraq, and Somalia, and was involved in drug interdiction missions with the Joint Counter-Terrorism Task Force in Central and South America. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Staff Sergeant.
Following his military service, Mr. Biggs transitioned into leadership roles in both the private and public sectors. At Vance International, he served as an Executive Protection Specialist, providing high-level security for Fortune 500 executives and visiting heads of state. He later joined the Arizona Department of Corrections, where he was appointed as a sworn liaison officer to the Arizona Department of Public Safety’s Gang Intelligence Unit (G.I.T.E.M.).
Mr. Biggs expanded his global credentials as a Protective Security Specialist, Surveillance Detection Operations Manager, and Instructor under contract with the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and U.S. Department of State (DoS). These roles placed him in high-threat international environments, where he supported critical protective service operations and led surveillance detection missions, training personnel to operate effectively under elevated risk conditions. Juan Mendoza is a seasoned and highly respected security professional with over 25 years of experience in both domestic and international protective and investigative operations. He currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Threat Mitigation–Risk Control Group, a licensed private investigation and security firm based in Arizona.
Mr. Mendoza plays a vital role as Head of Security for Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock Teen Centers, a local non-profit organization, where he is responsible for overseeing all aspects of security and safety, including conducting comprehensive background investigations for staff and volunteers. He also serves as a criminal investigator with the Maricopa County Legal Defender’s Office, specializing in major felony and capital crime investigations. His political security consultancy work includes providing protective services and risk management for Martha McSally’s U.S. Senate campaign and Kari Lake’s Arizona gubernatorial campaign.
Mr. Mendoza began his disciplined service career in the United States Navy, serving from 1986 to 2006 in both active duty and reserve roles as a Fleet Marine Force Corpsman (“Medic”). His assignments included tours with the U.S. Naval Hospital in San Diego, the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force, the 25th Marines, and a Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion. He is a proud veteran of Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm, Operation Iraqi Freedom/Enduring Freedom, and the Global War on Terror.
Following his military career, Mr. Mendoza served as a Protective Security Specialist for the U.S. Department of State/Diplomatic Security Service, deployed to high-threat posts in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. One of his early roles included helping to develop the Worldwide Personal Protective Service (WPPS) training program tailored for high-risk environments. His assignments included postings at the U.S. Consulate General in Peshawar, Pakistan; the U.S. Embassies in Baghdad, Iraq, and Kabul, Afghanistan; and the U.S. Consulate General in Erbil, Iraq.

Jose M. Sanchez Jr. is a seasoned Security Manager with over a decade of experience leading physical and operational security initiatives in high-risk, mission-critical environments. He currently serves as Director of Operations for both Threat Mitigation – Risk Control Group and Operation Soteria (opsoteria.org), as well as Site Security Manager for Green Cyber Security Services, where he oversees SCIF construction and accreditation in full compliance with ICD-705 standards. He maintains an active TS/SCI clearance.
Jose’s leadership experience spans executive and operational roles with organizations such as Grey Security and Constellis Group. His expertise includes physical security, crisis response, risk management, and security policy development, supporting federal, corporate, and field-based operations.
A U.S. Marine Corps veteran with three combat tours, Jose brings specialized experience in executive protection, dignitary security, and close-quarters protection for high-profile individuals. He holds elite industry certifications including CISSP, CPP, and PSP, and has completed advanced training in counterintelligence, insider threat mitigation, and SAP/SCI security.
Jose is currently pursuing a degree in Business Management and Leadership at American Military University, further strengthening his strategic and operational leadership capabilities.
Anthony “Hondo” Waddell is the Medical Program Manager for Threat Mitigation – Risk Control Group, where he oversees all aspects of medical readiness, training, and tactical response in high-risk and complex environments. With over 20 years of EMS experience and a decade in critical care transport, Hondo brings unmatched expertise to the front lines of emergency preparedness.
Currently serving as a firefighter/paramedic with the Phoenix Fire Department, Hondo has built a career grounded in clinical excellence and operational leadership. He has been recognized with two unit citations for life-saving rescues during structure fires and was named Medic of the Year by Phoenix Fire for his outstanding service and commitment to patient care.
A native of Arizona’s West Valley, Hondo’s journey began humbly on his family’s produce farm—an experience that shaped his strong work ethic and dedication to service. Today, he is widely respected in the EMS and public safety communities for his calm under pressure, tactical acumen, and mentorship. His steady presence and hands-on leadership make him a trusted asset in any operational setting.
